About the Role
As a Payments Analyst your primary responsibility is processing payments for incoming bills as approved by others. A successful candidate will be required to work with a variety of third-party vendors and partners throughout the day while processing payments. The ability to multitask seamlessly is required for efficiency in this position. Success in this role relies on your ability to stay organized while managing multiple programs simultaneously. The payments analyst will have a daily and ongoing impact on our company’s goal, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our vendors and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Enter requests into the bill-pay system as applicable.
- Work with teams across the organization as needed for requests for urgent payments.
- Assist in credit card payment processing and reconcilation
- Monitor the shared inbox and thoughtfully and accurately correspond with external vendors and partners.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed.
You’ll be the right fit if you:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Payment Processing, Banking, or a similar role, along with 1 year of professional office experience.
- High proficiency in Google Sheets.
- Take pride in your work and have an eagle eye for detail, ensuring precision and reliability in data entry and record-keeping.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and efficient time management for effective task management.
- Possess critical thinking skills, experience in problem-solving, and ready to tackle any challenge.
- Have a flexible mindset, enjoy learning, and can quickly pick up new software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
