Manager/Supervisor

About the Role
At SeedTrust, we play an important role in helping intended parents, surrogates, donors, and agencies navigate their journeys with confidence. Our Funding & Disbursement Operations team ensures that client funds are handled accurately, securely, and on time.

We’re looking for a Manager of Funding & Disbursement Operations to lead our daily financial operations, strengthen our processes, and support the continued development of our team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced operations leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving how things work, and creating reliable, scalable processes.

As SeedTrust continues to grow and evolve, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our operations remain efficient, well-controlled, and ready to support what’s next.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead a remote, cross-cultural team across Payment and Deposit operations. Set clear expectations, develop team members, provide feedback, and foster accountability and collaboration.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of deposits, disbursements, and related payment activities, ensuring client funds reach the right destination.
  • Financial Controls & Risk Management: Maintain strong controls across payment approvals, check releases, ACH/NACHA processes, and other financial transactions, ensuring appropriate verification and segregation of duties.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and monitor key performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Escrow Operations, Accounting and Compliance to ensure smooth handoffs and support evolving regulatory and business requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, strengthen team capabilities, and leverage technology and automation where appropriate.

What Success Looks Like
In this role, success means building an operation that delivers consistent results through clear processes, strong controls, and an empowered team.

You’ll help create an environment where team members understand their responsibilities, proactively manage performance, and solve problems with increasing independence.

As the business grows, you’ll ensure the operation can handle greater complexity and volume while maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and care our clients expect.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in payments, banking, treasury, or related financial operations, including at least 2 years in a people management role.
  • Strong knowledge of US payment systems and financial controls, including ACH, NACHA, wires, and checks/credit card payments.
  • Demonstrated experience improving operational processes, efficiency, and team performance.
  • Experience managing remote teams and collaborating across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate risks, and make sound decisions.
  • Adaptability and the ability to lead teams through evolving processes, systems, and business requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and accountable leadership approach.
  • Experience using technology, automation, or AI tools to improve operational processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with escrow operations, trust accounting, AML/BSA, or international payments.
  • Experience working in a growing organization with evolving operational or regulatory requirements.

What We Offer
We want people to feel trusted, supported, and empowered to do great work. We’re a fully remote team that values accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. We care deeply about the experience we create for our clients and about how we work together to make it happen.

  • 100% remote work
  • Medical, dental and vision benefits
  • Life insurance and 401(k)
  • Unlimited paid time off

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
